FAQs

What is internal medicine?

Internal medicine focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, care, and prevention of physical and mental diseases in adolescents through seniors.

Do I need a primary care provider?

Your primary care provider is your partner on your health journey. A PCP can make recommendations, track your progress and care, and support you as health needs arise. Your PCP can monitor your health from year to year and is your first point of contact for health concerns and questions.

How often should I see my primary care provider?

Consider seeing your PCP once per year to maintain your health. At this appointment, your provider will conduct a wellness exam and ask questions about your general health. Your PCP is always available for sick visits and other health concerns.
